Why should face wash be part of your skincare routine?

For those of you who don't know me I am Neil Masey from Mr. Masey's Emporium. We hand make beauty products from a 16th century barn in Sussex, England. And today I'd like to talk with you about our face wash. We make it in two varieties, combination skin one for dry skin.

Why should face wash be part of your skincare routine?

Now you may be asking why on earth would a 58 year old fuzzy face, man, like me want to use a face wash? Well, it's because I want to look 57 and not 58! Seriously though using a face wash as part of your daily routine, for everybody, really does help your skin.

What type of face wash is good for dry skin?

Our face wash for dry skin version contains myrrh essential oil and neroli essential oil. Both are really great for dry skin, luxury essential oils, plant-based and suitable for vegans.

What is myrrh oil?

Myrrh oil is an antioxidant, it's antibacterial and antifungal. So what on earth does that mean for your skin? What that means is it inhibits the toxin buildup in your skin and it kills off the bacteria in your skin. Making your skin much healthier and more vibrant, had you not used a face wash.

What is neroli oil?

Now the other essential oil we use is neroli and did you know it takes a thousand pounds of orange blossom flowers in order to make one 500 mil bottle of neroli essential oil! It's a highly priced product. We use neroli oil because it helps regenerate skin cells. It smooths away wrinkles, but most importantly, it's very uplifting. It's a mood enhancer, it's floral, and it's a very, very uplifting scent.
